_{Kwon Taehyun was born on July 18th,1992 in Seoul,South Korea. He is the eldest son of Kwon Gyuri and Jinyoung. With a politician for a father and a real estate agent as a mother,there weren’t many family dinners together or summer vacations. A majority of his childhood was spent without the presence of his parents,due to their busy work schedules and lack of interest in raising their children. His younger brother Taemin and himself were left in the care of nannies throughout their adolescent years.}

_{At the age of 15 he realized how much he wanted to become an entertainer. He had never been afraid of the spotlight and he enjoyed putting on a show for people. One day in particular while Taehyun was performing a dance routine, a talent scout for AND Entertainment approached him.He was offered the chance to become a trainee an debut under the company. His parents however,were opposed to the idea of their son becoming a singer. Deeming it unfit,Taehyun was forbidden to audition.When he turned 18,he moved out and began the process of auditioning for companies. He had been rejected 4 times in total from various labels before he was accepted into AND entertainment.}

The 2013 summer blockbuster “Bad Business” was his first time on the silver screen. In 2013, he became a part of the cast for “We Got Married”.}

_{On August 10th,2014 it was announced that years of being the leader of Antihero,Taehyun has decided to not renew his contract and will no longer be under &entertainment. Although the reasons have been kept unknown to the public,many speculate it may be because of creative differences and group inactivity due to various solo projects.  Within the same month,he switched labels and signed a contract with Static Media.}
